100 Year Durability: JD Fields Delivers Advanced Pipe-Z Combi-Wall Solution for Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue Shoreline
JD Fields & Company, Inc. Canada ULC is honored to have collaborated with Marathon Underground Constructors Corporation delivering an advanced Pipe-Z combi-wall solution for the shoreline protection system in Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, QC. This project features a fully fabricated system where sheet pile connectors were welded to pipes, and ring bits were installed to anchor piles into bedrock.
The integration of AZ18-800 intermediary piles allowed for an optimized design that reduced the number of systems required and delivered significant fabrication cost savings—an outcome that underscores our commitment to engineering efficiency and value. Close coordination with Marathon Underground Constructors Corporation ensured all materials were supplied and installed ahead of schedule, ensuring project completion before the Christmas break and the St. Lawrence Seaway’s seasonal closure.
